Junior Graphic Designer

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in a relevant design discipline from reputable university and at least 1 – 2 years experience.
  • Fluent in Adobe CS, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge and experience in Cinema 4D, After Effects and Premiere Pro a bonus.
  • Must have the ability to put rationale behind all design and copy concepts and execution.
  • Self-motivated, creative, independent and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
  • Have a positive and passionate approach with a can-do attitude.

3D Animator/ Motion Designer

  • Prepare design plan, concept and layout for animation or motion graphic projects.
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with other creative team members.
  • Create and deliver motion graphics in various media.
  • Assist in selecting audio, video, colours, animation, etc. for graphic design.
  • Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Provide useful thoughtful and constructive contributions to team meetings and conversations.
  • Maturity of thought and confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues & managers.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines including production companies, designers, photographers, copywriters and printers.

Requirements:

  • University degree or above in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years experience in equivalent role; or other qualifications plus 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Ability as an excellent cameraman as well as the ability to direct a team.
  • Excellent knowledge, experience and natural interest in the latest filming equipment, including DSLR, Black Magic, shooting in RAW, steadycam, and brushless gimbals.
  • Know how to use the equipment fluently (e.g. lens: what lens to use, what ISO, what f-stop, what colour balance…; or what lighting to use….) to get the shot needed.
  • Highly fluent in Premiere, Final Cut. A talent for colour grading is a must.
  • Working knowledge in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge and experience in Cinema 4D a bonus.

We’re looking for a talented, passionate and meticulous editorial assistant to join our custom media team to work on one of Hong Kong’s largest custom publishing accounts. Work includes assisting the team from conceptualising, through the entire editorial process, to execution and publishing – for magazines, collaterals, online as well as video. Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to an editor and an account manager and together liaising with the client on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis.
  • Familiarise with clients’ products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities.

  • Working with the custom media team to plan and execute custom media.
